how to build a fall wardrobe from scratch

Putting outfits together can be so stressful! Especially when you don't have the right essential pieces. About 3 years ago when I looked in my closet I realized it was a MESS. Figuratively and literally.

My closet was full of tops I would wear once, jeans that were too long for me & I never had the right coat to complete a look. I decided to slowly build my wardrobe by being smarter when I shopped and buy neutral colors & pieces I can wear over and over again different ways. For example, in the fall- long sleeve bodysuits are great on their own (with jeans obviously lol), under a cardigan, under a leather jacket, or with a skirt.

Another tip: I always think of quality over quantity. Id rather spent $50 on one nice thermal top than $50 for 4 cheap thermal tops that fray, will last me 3 wears & just take up unnecessary room in my closet.

Having a few pieces from each of these categories will help you simplify your closet.
